Aslong as this post is on the main page, me and jarvis will
answer your questions, this can be about : Anime/photoshop/hobbies/preferences etc.
But if things get too personal im sure one of us will refuse to answer ^^ .
So keep that in mind, after all we are all closet pervs here. right? right?

QUESTION: for both of you, Eron and Jarvis. What kind of anime girl did you guys like? I mean, not the name of your favorite, but what features make an anime girl attractive for you? What skin color, hair length, hair color, personality, boobs/butt size...

In general, I want to know your story self-development. As you were developing. From beginner to profesional.

Anime girls, hmm what I definetly think is hot is if a character is very strong either physically or mentally. As far as boobs and butts I can't really give a straight up answer, depends on the characters face and body type. hair is very important. I know that probably half of the anime uses Hair color to show the characters personality. favorite color hmm red? or blue either of those. that's about it. ooh and skin color leaning towards tan but anything is good tbh.

Photoshopping is all about tutorials imo, once you manage to do something it's really easy to just forget how you did it in the first place. So lots of practice and it helps to create something for someone else. That made me grow faster than it would for just me. I had photoshop at school for 2 years and it was easy to ask the teacher how to improve in certain areas. the thing I was really stuck on was skin color, obviously I didn't show them the edits and asked how to do it. I just used real people instead and they kindly showed me. though it didn't really work on the cartoon style because it had outlines so I had to figure out how to do it with those at that time it took so long to even do that so I almost gave up on it entirely but I figured it out and was able to change skintones rather fast and after that I could advance into the next area. Like the lines, I made myself a custom brush one that is as dense as can be yet 2 pixel (1 pixel looks too sharp and just pixelated). With that atleast my outlines looked cleaner. I hope the outlines are good btw, never got actually feedback on that.

Tough question to answer. I never had a moment when I stopped to wonder why is it that this anime girl is more attractive to me than the other thus making it difficult for me to deliver a proper answer. But alas I shall try, sir.
I guess for starters there's no real surprise when I say that physical appearence takes a good part into my decision making on whether I find this character attractive or not. However there are certain things that I do not like. As you may figured out by now, thanks to my tidbits I humbly delivered, from my About-esque page, I am the kind of person that prefers a bit of a realistic aproach to things even in anime. As such, in this case, I tend to find attractive female characters that have a realistic aproach to their design like average boob size, serving as a very good example. I hate exagerated propertions like those from characters such as Rangiku Matsumoto in Bleach for example. In all honesty any girl with that huge rack would have serious problems with their spine. But on the pollar opposite I love female characters such as Makise Kurysu from Stein's;Gate which in terms of her body proportions and general physical aspect she pretty resembles that of the majority of girls we get to see in real life too.
But, putting aside the physical aspect argument, there is also the personalitty aspect I consider to be important. And as such I hate female characters with over-exagerated traits such as being too goofy, too clumsy, too dumb, too tomboish, to muhc of a bitch etc. xD I just can't find those characters attractive because it creates a monotonous character where one personaly trait is dominant so it takes away from simpathizing with them because they have notihng else to offer to make you like them as a character.
So bassically what makes me find a female character is a good balance betwenn her personality and physical aspect.

DeleteWell starting from scratch you could imagine how difficult it was. But just as Eron said "it's all about tutorials". So yeah I had to surf through, what a wise man might call, a SHIT TON OF TUTORIALS, to get at least decent on what I was trying to acomplish. I started of small only learning things needed for editing such as how to work with the selection tools. And again as Eron pointed out practice makes perfect. So I kept doing edits and improving my skills with at least the basics such as the afore mentioned selection tools. But I guess I have to thank my ambition also. Because each time I got to grasp some for of mastery over one thing I immediately began to wonder of the possibilites to do more than just what I was allowed to do by mastering only that skill alone. And to bring some clarification for what I mean here's an example. I began to master selction tools. I could easly select whatever parts I need and edit around with them. But the more I got good at it the more I also saw the limitations of it. I was able to select any head from a PiXXX and crop it out smoothly but the head could always fit into the PiXXX I wanted to add it in for editing purposes because it lack too much of the hair, face and other parts. And that's when I looked into aquiring the skills needed for me to pass those limitations. I began to explore further possibilites with selection tools such as Pen Tool such as doing line art and adding certain modifications to it in order tos uit my needs. Than tools for coloring and shading etc. All these were to allow to construct missing bits for the heads I wanted to use for the edits. And as such I began to constantly delve even deeper into expanding beyond what limitations came across each time. Which got to my current situation where I began to add entire body parts to my edits alongside constructing or reconstructing the entire face of a character or doing completely original work.
So far it's been 2 years since I started this and I think I grew quite a bit since my very first attempts but I know I got a lot more to learn and the only way I can do it is by keep on doing what I do xD But in any case I'm pleased on a personal level I'm pleased of my progress so far and I'm even gald I'm doing all this here nowadays cuz although there are few people around here at least you give me feedback and support. xD Although, to some extent I'm still very dissapointed of how people on 420chan are showing a great deal of disrespect towards the editors that used to bring high quality edits by calling the decent quality edits nowadays as great as the ones we used to provide.

DeleteSorry I have to be honest and say I don't find tht attractive in any way whatsover. That's not to say I condemn those people that do like it but I'm just not one of those people. So I have to say I don't like that at all. xD
For me it's the same as yaoi so im definetly not a fan of it. (just my opinion.)
